REACH2020

Reach2020 is a White Paper that provides an in-depth survey of current and potential tele-reach solutions from the perspective of the needs of the Global South. This paper reviews the infrastructure, policy, and economic frameworks to enable the sustainable operation of these tele-reach solutions. Particular emphasis is placed on the means for regions and countries of the Global South to collaborate on such solutions. Reach2020 builds upon work conducted by the 2011 ISU Southern Hemisphere Summer Space Program (SHS-SP) White Paper that contained several viable space-related solutions to provide significant benefits in addressing current and future issues affecting the Southern Hemisphere.
